Application

• The Good Night is applied like a body cream.
• Take the desired amount of sleep cream in good time before going to bed and massage it evenly onto your neck, shoulders or forearms in gentle movements.
• After about half an hour, the calming effect sets in. 
• Let yourself be inspired by The Good Night ritual for your personal sense of calm:
• Self-care step 1: Deliberately spread the desired amount of cream on the clean palm of your hand.
• Self-Care Step 2: Breathe in and out deeply.
• Self-care step 3: Gently spread the cream between your palms. This will warm up the period cream. Make sure you focus on the light cream texture and enjoy the gentle scent that The Hug exudes.

Active ingredients

• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) - The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple and resilient. The oil has an antibacterial effect, is quickly absorbed and contains vitamins B, E, minerals and beta-carotene (provitamin A). Strengthens cell development and cell renewal, counteracts skin aging and strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, jojoba oil is actually not an oil, but a vegetable wax.
• Melatonin, the endogenous sleep hormone, regulates whether and when you get tired. As soon as it gets dark outside, our body gradually releases melatonin because bedtime begins. But if sleep is unthinkable in the evening hours, gentle support with plant-based melatonin can do the body good. In addition to observing calming rituals such as reading a book, the intake of melatonin as an alternative to prescription sleeping pills, for example, is playing an increasingly important role.
• Ashwagandha / Sleeping Berry (Withania somnifera) is an integral part of Ayurveda and is also known as "Indian Ginseng". The sleeping berry is known for its ability to calm, soothe and strengthen the body. Ashwaganda can help support a variety of processes in the body. It can strengthen the immune system as well as support the cognitive, hormonal and neurological systems of the body. Adaptogenic herbs and plants help to keep our organism in balance.
• CBD can positively influence numerous processes in the body. For example, CBD can promote the sleep-wake cycle or the general feeling of stress. This is partly due to the relaxing and antispasmodic effects for which the CBD extracted from the hemp plant is traditionally valued. • Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruits of the shea tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and beta carotene, butter protects against environmental pollution, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Grapeseed Oil (Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil) has a high content of linoleic acid and vitamins E and K. It is considered an oil with exceptionally strong antioxidant and cell-protecting properties. The oil promotes skin elasticity, has anti-inflammatory properties and has a regulating effect on sebum production.
• Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil) protects the skin from free radical damage and premature aging. The high content of lauric acid gives the oil its antifungal and antibacterial properties. Coconut oil is comedogenic but still helps against impurities and is suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin. Moisturizes and makes the skin supple.
• Essential lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) oil) has a calming, cleansing and antiseptic effect. The gentle oil is made up of linalyl acetate and linalool and has a stimulating effect on cell growth. The complexion benefits from the stimulated blood circulation and the antioxidants contained in lavender act as a natural anti-aging treatment. Has a healing effect on inflammatory skin and pimples.
• The African black bean (Griffonia Simplicifolia Seed Extract) is said to support our nerves in a natural way. The seeds contain L-5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) which is converted into serotonin by the body. Serotine is an all-rounder from which the body can also produce the sleep hormone melatonin. What is CBD?

The abbreviation CBD stands for cannabidiol, a natural phytocannabinoid found in the hemp plant. Hemp is one of the oldest crops and has been used for centuries - whether for the production of clothing, as food or even as medicine. Along with THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, the intoxicating active ingredient in the hemp plant), CBD is one of the best-known active ingredients in hemp. How does CBD work?

CBD works through the body's endocannabinoid system. This complex system is part of the nervous system and consists of receptors called CB1 and CB2 receptors. CBD docks onto these receptors like a key. The interaction serves to regulate various physical and psychological processes. Did you know that the body also has its own cannabinoids? CBD can support this as an exogenous cannabinoid that is supplied from the outside.

What are terpenes?
