With ruhi I would like to introduce women and men to beneficial rituals - encourage them to take time for themselves and their natural needs Glow to find. That's what Britta, the founder of ruhi, says. Before she founded ruhi, she wrote about clean skincare topics on beautyshelf.de. When she became pregnant, she became more interested in a holistic approach to beauty. During her detailed study of Ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine and naturopathy, she discovered many exciting, ancient medicinal plants, but also traditional beauty rituals such as Dry brush massages, cupping treatments and facial massage techniques. Britta began to integrate these simple applications into her everyday life and noticed after a short time how good they were for her: "They reduce everyday stress, have a relaxing effect, give new energy and, at the same time, make my skin more beautiful!" The idea for ruhi was born!
As a logical next step, Britta came up with the idea of her own, complementary skin care line. The aim was to create highly effective natural cosmetic products with slow-aging ingredients that have a proven positive effect on the skin. Her first product, the ruhi Bakuchiol Oil Serum, has already achieved cult status with many customers. With 5-10 hero ingredients each, ruhi relies on a minimalist approach with proven effectiveness. Britta Hekmat: “We select our natural, bioactive ingredients based on their clinically proven effectiveness and use them in sensible concentrations. With the latest scientific findings, we can use innovative bio-tech ingredients that are completely natural and highly effective. For example, the ruhi Skincare line contains stem cell extract from goji berries and live probiotic cultures. At the same time, our skin care is ultra-gentle on the skin. We completely avoid synthetic ingredients and do not use drying alcohols, fragrances and essential oils (in facial care)." The ruhi Skincare products are manufactured in a natural cosmetics laboratory in Germany and meet the strict requirements of the EU Cosmetics Regulation.
