Wonderbalm 50 ml

This silky balm is a real multitasking miracle: The Wonderbalm cleanses, nourishes and protects the skin with pure jojoba oil, wild rose oil and moisturizing cupuacu butter.

Cupuaçu butter and organic beeswax lock in moisture and provide healing and anti-inflammatory benefits while Almond oil, rosehip oil, jojoba oil and olive oil provide nutrients and vitamins. Stoneseed root extract has an antimicrobial effect and gives this balm its wonderful colour.

The Cupuaçu butter comes from the The Glow cooperative in the Amazon region. It is grown there sustainably and in permaculture and helps the farmers to earn a fair and regular income.

Application

• As a cleaner and gentle peeling
• Massage a small amount of Wonderbalm onto uncleansed, dry skin to dissolve make-up, dirt and dead skin cells. Then dip a cleansing cloth in very warm water and remove the balm with it. 

• As intensive care
• After cleansing, massage Wonderbalm onto damp skin to soothe and seal in moisture.

• As a soothing face mask
• Apply to cleansed skin. Cover excess balm with damp, warm Cleansing Cloth for ten to fifteen minutes then remove with the cloth.

Active ingredients

• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) - The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple and resilient. The oil has an antibacterial effect, is quickly absorbed and contains vitamins B, E, minerals and beta-carotene (provitamin A). Strengthens cell development and cell renewal, counteracts skin aging and strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, jojoba oil is actually not an oil, but a vegetable wax.
• Cupuaçu Butter (Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter) - The Cupuaçu tree is related to cocoa, because both come from the plant genus Theobroma. Cupuaçu butter is intensely moisturizing and strengthens the skin barrier with oleic acid, palmitic acid, arachidic acid and pytosterol. The high content of antioxidants also helps in the fight against free radicals. Has a calming effect and is also very suitable for sensitive skin.
• Beeswax (Cera Falva, Cera Alba) – The wax forms a protective film on the skin and thereby binds moisture, but without closing the pores. Beeswax also has a slightly antiseptic effect and can relieve inflammation. It soothes irritated skin and can even help with eczema. The vitamin A contained in the wax promotes cell renewal and thus counteracts premature skin aging.
• olive oil - moisturizes and makes the skin feel soft. Consists of 85% essential fatty acids with a high proportion of linoleic acid that supports the skin's protective barrier. Vitamin E and polyphenols are powerful free radical scavengers and protect against premature skin aging.
• Rose hip seed oil, wild rose oil (Rosa Canina Fruit Oil) - The oil from the fruits of the dog rose supports the skin regeneration very effectively. Rich in vitamin C, minerals, beta-corten, flavinoids and malic acid, it helps with pigment spots and scars, supports skin elasticity and has a balancing effect on the skin tone. Flaky, mature and dry skin also benefits from using the oil.
• Stone seed root extract (Lithospermum Erythrorizon Root Extract) has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant and calming effects. The extract reduces redness, eczema and itching.
• Essential lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) oil) has a calming, cleansing and antiseptic effect. The gentle oil is made up of linalyl acetate and linalool and has a stimulating effect on cell growth. The complexion benefits from the stimulated blood circulation and the antioxidants contained in lavender act as a natural anti-aging treatment. Has a healing effect on inflammatory skin and pimples.

FAQ

• What skin type is Wonderbalm suitable for?

Wonderbalm is the perfect partner for dry, very dry and sensitive skin. If you have dehydrated skin, please ensure that sufficient moisture is applied under the Wonderbalm, ideally in the form of the Floral Essence. With normal and oily skin, Wonderbalm can be used selectively, for example as lip and eye care, highlighter, to tame the eyebrows and for all dry parts of the body.

• How much balm do I have to use?

Less is more! Wonderbalm contains no water, making it a pure nutrient concentrate for your skin. Use a quantity of Wonderbalm no larger than the lentil if you are going to use it all over your face. For selective use as eye and lip care, correspondingly less.

• Can Wonderbalm also be used as a cleaner?

Yes, Wonderbalm can also be used as a cleansing balm, but ideally for oily, normal or dry skin. Dehydrated skin is more likely to benefit from the Cleansing Cream.

All ingredients come 100% from controlled organic cultivation or wild collection.

We obtain our cupuacu butter from a cooperative of indigenous farmers near Manaus, in the Brazilian Amazon region. It is grown and harvested there sustainably and in permaculture. As a result, the farmers have a fair, regular income and are not dependent on the sale of wood. Thus, every purchase of a Wonderbalm supports the preservation of the rainforest, reforestation and the local population.

Please store below 30°C. At very high temperatures, the balm can become softer. Simply place in the fridge to harden. The consistency of the balm has no effect on the effect.
