SOS+ Sensitive Moisturiser

This lightweight, organically certified moisturizer soothes sensitive, easily irritated and reddening skin.

The fragrance-free formula with red algae extract and hyaluronic acid soothes the skin, moisturizes and ensures long-lasting comfort. Biotechnologically obtained algae molecules have a balancing effect on the skin microbiome and the protective barrier against external stress factors.

Active ingredients

• Aloe Vera Extract / Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents the skin from drying out and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe Vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes and essential amino acids. Provides oxygen to the skin and is believed to be effective in supporting cell renewal. Binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect.
• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) - The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple and resilient. The oil has an antibacterial effect, is quickly absorbed and contains vitamins B, E, minerals and beta-carotene (provitamin A). Strengthens cell development and cell renewal, counteracts skin aging and strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, jojoba oil is actually not an oil, but a vegetable wax.
• Hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of connective tissue, it fills and supports the connective tissue. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the moisture content of the skin. Hyaluronic acid also promotes the firmness and elasticity of the skin. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is a major cause of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and plump the skin.
• Sodium PCA (also called sodium PCA) is the salt of pyrrolidonecarboxylic acid, which is usually obtained from the amino acid L-glutamic acid from sugar cane. The ingredient has a hygroscopic effect, meaning it attracts water and holds it in the skin cells. This way the skin stays moist and supple and is protected from drying out. Together with other natural moisturizing factors such as amino acids, uric acid or lactic acid, PCAs form the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF). The non-irritating, non-comodogenic and well-tolerated sodium PCA is used in skin and hair care products.
• Glycerin – The sugar alcohol is part of the body's skin's own moisture retention system. Lipids (fats) in the skin are made up of glycerin and fatty acids and have a hydrating effect and help prevent water loss. Glycerin also has a stabilizing effect on the skin's barrier function.
• Coco-Caprylate/Caprate is a mixture of coconut fatty alcohol esters. The natural alternative to silicone is well absorbed by the skin, strengthens the skin's protective barrier and prevents water loss, leaving the skin soft and supple. The emollient is also used as a make-up remover because it dissolves decorative cosmetics very well.
• Vitamin E / tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture storage between the cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit the oxidation of oil, thereby preventing blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the natural function of the skin's protective barrier.
