Anima Mundis Breathe Lung Tonic Tea calms the respiratory tract and supports healthy lung function.
In traditional Chinese medicine, lung energy supports blood circulation to distribute antibodies against pathogens throughout the body. Astragalus in particular embodies this energy and is used in TCM to support the lungs, strengthen the immune system and protect against pathogens.
- Astragalus - perhaps the most important lung tonic used in Chinese medicine to strengthen and tone the Qi (our energetic system) and immune system. Astragalus strengthens Wei Qi (the immune system) and helps with colds, flu and breathing problems. Astragalus is said to protect the immune system from viruses, pathogens and other harmful invaders like a protective film.
- Reishi - has been used as a mind and lung tonic for thousands of years. A powerful mushroom with extraordinary abilities. In addition to its positive effects on our consciousness, it has now been scientifically proven that it strengthens the immune system, protects the endocrine system, protects the body from oxidative stress, has an anti-inflammatory effect and strengthens the brain.
- Mullein - easily found in the woods, is a wonderful remedy for dry lungs and sore throats. Lungwort has a regenerating effect on the bronchial tissue and was already used by Hildegard von Bingen as a herbal wine.
- Nettle – contains several immune-boosting compounds, including flavonoids, carotenoids, and vitamins A and C. Nettle extract strengthens our immune response and promotes immune cell activity.
- Ginger - This culinary and medicinal herb has anti-inflammatory and bronchodilator effects and helps break down and expel mucus in the lungs (good for asthma).
This tea has Anima Mundi donated to over 1.900 families in California who were affected by the fires in one way or another. Application
- Add about 1 tbsp to a cup of hot water. Let it steep for 10-15 minutes, strain, enjoy and breathe in deeply.
- If needed, add your choice of (plant-based) milk or sweetener for an extra cozy cup of magic.
- Store the container in a dry place. Store away from heat and light.
