Active ingredients

• Probiotics – Our skin is home to over 500 species of bacteria. Similar to our intestinal flora, they ensure the balance of our so-called skin microbiome, the living protective layer of the skin. The "good" bacteria, as they are also called, feed on fats, salts and dead horny cells and thus ensure the natural protection of our skin. The best-known probiotics are the lactobacilli (lactic acid bacteria), which are usually contained in cosmetics in creams or serums and thus help the skin to regenerate and become more resistant. 
• Prebiotics – In addition to the probiotics, the living organisms, there are also the prebiotics. These are "dead" substances that are obtained from natural products, mostly plants, and that support the probiotics in the formation of new good bacteria by providing them with important substances.
• Calendula / marigold (Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil / Extract) from the daisy family is particularly known for its anti-inflammatory, soothing and wound-healing properties.
