What is Grain-Based Tea?

Think delicious Genmaicha, a traditional Japanese green tea preparation made with roasted brown rice and sobacha, a cup of happiness and health made from roasted buckwheat seeds. This mild, slightly malty-smoky and beneficial taste of roasted grain is incomparably good. And the whole thing is now spiced up with a handpicked blend of Ayurvedic herbs!

• There are so many types of tea that we only wanted to create something new if it was really something special. Something we fell in love with. It took a very long time (and hundreds of cups of tea!) But eventually we found these perfect mixes.

Usage

• Take a teaspoon from each side of the box to make your tea. Or more or less, just as you like.
• So why this double dose?
• When you mix grains and herbs together in loose tea, the grains sink to Boden (as they are heavier). That was out of the question for us. We wanted the right dose of this lovely malty grill flavor. So we decided to split the box in half: grains on one side, herbs on the other - what we call DOUBLE DOSE tea.
• We may be biased, but there are so many types of tea that we only wanted to create something if it was really special. Something we fell in love with. It took a very long time (and hundreds of cups of tea!) But eventually we found these perfect mixes.

WHAT IS CBD? DOES IT CONTAIN THC?

Our deep sleep tea - She Slept for 100 Years - contains hemp flowers and leaves that naturally contain CBD.

CBD is a naturally occurring compound in the hemp plant and is known to have calming effects on the mind and body. The flowers and leaves are grown in Germany and Austria, tested in the laboratory and guaranteed to contain less than 0,2% THC. THC is the compound most commonly found in the "cannabis" plant (not hemp) that is known to be psychoactive or to get you "high". So basically no, our tea doesn't get you high;)

We use hemp in the blend not only because of its calming properties, but also because of its wonderful taste: high-quality hemp tea is delicious.

If you want to increase the bioavailability of the CBD in tea, try mixing in a little coconut oil: CBD is better absorbed into the body through healthy fats.

CAN I DRINK THIS TEA DURING PREGNANCY?

SHE SLEPT FOR 100 YEARS contains hemp with naturally occurring CBD, which is generally not recommended during pregnancy.

SHE WOKE UP AND CONQUERED THE WORLD contains green tea, which can be consumed in moderation during pregnancy. However, it also contains tulsi (holy basil), which may not be recommended for pregnant women (there is little research into it or against it).
