Wabi Sabi Botanicals' creamy First Light Illuminative Cleanser is a gentle cleanser and makeup remover. Without essential oils, ideal for sensitive skin types.

The silky-smooth cleanser is enriched with tropical mango, soothing Ecuadorian rose and brightening polyhydroxy acid (PHA) to give skin a radiant, even-toned appearance while pampering your senses. Smells delicious of mango and vanilla and cleans without drying or irritating!

• First Light contains, among other things, Ecuadorian rose, a natural source of vitamin A, which ensures smooth skin and reduces the visibility of wrinkles!
• Mango fruit extract is rich in antioxidants that help even out skin tone and reduce hyperpigmentation.
• PHA (Polyhydroxy Acid) is a very mild exfoliator that helps reduce acne, bumps, dullness and leaves skin glowing!
• Rice bran oil is a source of fatty acids that are very important for hydrated and supple skin! Rice bran oil penetrates deep into the skin to provide optimal care. Additionally, this gentle oil reduces the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation and stimulates skin elasticity.

Wabi Sabi Botanicals products are specially formulated for sensitive skin and contain no essential oils and potentially irritating ingredients. Of course, all products are also suitable for non-sensitive skin.

Application

• Suitable for everyday use.
• You only need a small amount of the cleaner. Massage the cleanser onto slightly damp skin for about 30 seconds and then rinse with (lukewarm) water.
• Use afterwards The Offering Probiotic toner for best results.
• You can also use First Light as a second cleaning The Giver Use Cleansing Oil if you like to double cleanse.
• We recommend First Light in the morning and The Giver in the evening or vice versa.

Active ingredients

• Rice bran oil (Oryza sativa bran oil) is obtained from the fat and vitamin-rich rice bran, which consists of the pericarp and seed husk of the rice grain. The oil contains a lot of vitamin E and essential unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic acid, linolenic acid, myristic acid). It is a light, fast-absorbing oil that has a soothing effect on irritated and dry skin conditions. The active ingredient is also often used for sensitive or barrier-impaired skin.
• Rice Extract (Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract) - Rice is high in antioxidants, polysaccharides, omega-3 fatty acids and micronutrients. The pores can be refined with rice extract and the skin can be invigorated. Rice extract has a clarifying and anti-inflammatory effect, soothes and reduces irritation.
• Gluconolactone or PHA acid (polyhydroxy acids) are the mild counterpart to the AHAs. Unlike AHAs, they do not increase sun sensitivity and can be used on sensitive skin. PHAs clarify, refresh the complexion and combat glycation, a natural chemical process that weakens the skin's collagen and elastin. PHAs are rich in antioxidants and stimulate epidermal growth and repair. The skin appears plumper and smoother.
• Rose petals are famous for their numerous healing properties and have been used in different cultures for centuries. Due to their powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, they are used both internally and externally. Rose petals are used to soothe, to reduce infection and inflammation, or to reduce redness and breakouts. It is also traditionally used as an aphrodisiac and can serve as a mild anti-anxiety and mood enhancer. Rose petals are also used to soothe small cuts, scars and burns.
• Kukui Nut Oil (Aleurites Moluccana (Kukui) Nut Oil) has been used as a beauty oil in Hawaii for centuries. The gentle, quickly absorbed oil contains linolenic acid, linoleic acid and vitamins A, C and E. It relieves skin irritations (e.g. eczema and psoriasis), provides moisture and strengthens the skin barrier.
• Vitamin E / tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture storage between the cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit the oxidation of oil, thereby preventing blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the natural function of the skin's protective barrier.
• Sunflower Oil (Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil) has a high content of lionolic acid, antioxidants and vitamin E. It supports wound healing, has an antibacterial effect and helps the skin to regenerate. The oil fights skin impurities with vitamins A and D. The oil is well absorbed and the pores do not clog. For the hair, it is a natural moisturizer that strengthens the hair, promotes growth, removes frizz and adds shine.
• Guava is rich in vitamin C, antioxidants (lycopene) and carotenes. Fights free radicals, improves the complexion and leaves the skin looking radiant and fresh.
