Active ingredients

• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruits of the shea tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and beta carotene, butter protects against environmental pollution, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Camellia Seed Oil / Camellia Oil – The light oil is quickly absorbed by the skin, moisturizes and reduces transepidermal water loss. Protects against oxidative stress and has an anti-inflammatory effect. Ingredients such as vitamin E and polyphenols are effective anti-aging ingredients that support cell regeneration and fight fine lines.
• Squalane or squalane oil (squalane) is a light, non-comedogenic and non-greasy oil that leaves your skin silky smooth. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents the skin's own fats from oxidizing. The regenerating oil prevents age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple and promotes the oxygenation and regeneration of cells. • D-panthenol (provitamin B5) is very well tolerated, has a wound healing, regenerative and anti-inflammatory effect. Panthenol improves the appearance and suppleness of skin and hair. It has a moisturizing and smoothing effect. Due to its small molecule size, it can penetrate deep into the cell tissue, store moisture and act as a provitamin.
• Zinc PCA (pyrrolidone carboxylic acid) is a natural component of moisture retention in the skin and has strong antimicrobial and sebum-regulating properties. Zinc inhibits the activity of sebum-stimulating enzymes and can thus reduce excessive sebum production. The pronounced antibacterial effect combined with the ability to reduce sebum production is very suitable for acne and blemished skin. In addition, Zinc PCA has an astringent effect, so it tightens the pores and ensures a smoother appearance.
• lactic acid (Lactic Acid) is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid that gently exfoliates and may reduce hyperpigmentation and age spots. It also has the ability to shrink large pores and revitalize dull, uneven complexions.
• Hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of connective tissue, it fills and supports the connective tissue. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the moisture content of the skin. Hyaluronic acid also promotes the firmness and elasticity of the skin. What is CBD?

The abbreviation CBD stands for cannabidiol, a natural phytocannabinoid found in the hemp plant. Hemp is one of the oldest crops and has been used for centuries - whether for the production of clothing, as food or even as medicine. Along with THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, the intoxicating active ingredient in the hemp plant), CBD is one of the best-known active ingredients in hemp. Compared to THC, CBD is defined by its non-psychoactive effect: mood, perception and consciousness are not affected by ingestion. The terpenes contained in the hemp plant can enhance the properties of the cannabinoid - also known as the terpene entourage effect. The ingredient is obtained from legal hemp varieties.

How does CBD work?

CBD works through the body's endocannabinoid system. This complex system is part of the nervous system and consists of receptors called CB1 and CB2 receptors. CBD docks onto these receptors like a key. The interaction serves to regulate various physical and psychological processes. Did you know that the body also has its own cannabinoids? CBD can support this as an exogenous cannabinoid that is supplied from the outside.

What are terpenes?

Terpenes are organic compounds that, among other things, provide the scent of plants such as peppermint, hemp or thyme. Terpenes make up part of the effect of CBD oil and can achieve optimized effects in combination with cannabinoids.
