With moisturizing silver ear mushroom extract, a botanical alternative to Hyaluronic acid and an extract from the Indian mat bean extract, a plant-based retinol substitute, your skin is clarified, soothed and hydrated. The mat bean achieves the same effect as a 2,5% retinol cream without causing side effects such as redness or dryness. In addition, the included Melissa has powerful antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, while malachite extract strengthens the skin's natural defenses.

Application

• After cleansing, gently pat a few drops of Floral Essence onto your face, neck and décolleté. Then massage that EverythingOil (normal and oily skin) or Master Elixir (dry, dehydrated, mature skin) on damp skin.
• Wear the Floral Essence also during the day in between when your skin needs moisture and refreshment, for example on hot days, with dry heating air or after a work-out.
• Mix 1 tsp Cleansing Clay with 1 tsp Floral Essence to a skin-renewing, deeply cleansing mask.
  Pro tip: Mix the Floral Essence with something in the palm of your hand EverythingOil or Master Elixir into a light emulsion, then apply like a normal cream. This gives your skin an extra portion of moisture!

Active ingredients

• Rose distillate (Rosa Damascena (Rosa) Flower Water), also known as rose blossom water or rose hydrolate, is obtained from rose blossoms. Rose distillate has soothing, astringent and cleansing properties. It stimulates the blood circulation in the fine capillaries, helps to minimize the appearance of scars, micro-wounds, sunburns and wrinkles. Natural and delicate scent of roses.
• Orange blossom water / nerolide distillate (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Flower Water) is obtained from the flower buds of the bitter orange tree. The hydrolate has a calming and relaxing effect, both for our skin and for our soul. It can reduce redness and soothe irritated skin. It also has a refreshing effect, provides moisture, has a balancing effect on the pH value of the skin and promotes a more even complexion.
• Aloe Vera Extract / Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents the skin from drying out and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe Vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes and essential amino acids. Provides oxygen to the skin and is believed to be effective in supporting cell renewal. Binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect.
• Lactobacillus - Probiotic lactic acid bacteria support the skin's natural defense mechanisms. They support the microflora and fight acne-causing bacteria, inflammation and dirt. Reduces moisture loss and relieves itching, dry and burning skin.
• Mat bean extract (Vigna Aconitifolia Seed Extract) is also known as natural vitamin A (retinol). It stimulates cell turnover and improves collagen synthesis. Efficacy tests have shown that natural vitamin A can fight the effects of aging. The cushioning effect of the vitamin improves the skin structure and makes the skin appear plumper, smoother and more even.
• Silver ear mushroom (Tremella Fuciformis (Snow Mushroom) Extract) acts like a herbal form of hyaluronic acid and is therefore also called botanical hyaluronic acid. The extract of the silver ear fungus is very similar in its chemical structure to hyaluronic acid and also has powerful moisturizing and binding properties.
• Lemon balm has good toning and astringent properties and helps balance and regulate combination skin.

Floral Essence is a moisturizing toner and active ingredient serum in one. Every skin needs a sufficient supply of moisture, it is a basic requirement for a healthy, intact skin barrier. Therefore, Floral Essence is the heart of our care kit and is suitable for every skin condition.

• Is Floral Essence also intended for anti-aging care?

In addition to the moisturizing hydrolates and aloe vera, Floral Essence also contains our water-soluble active ingredients such as silver ear mushroom extract, the botanical alternative to synthetically produced hyaluronic acid. In addition, we use the extract from the Indian matted bean, which has been shown in numerous in-vivo studies to have a skin-rejuvenating effect like that of retinol, without causing the known side effects. In contrast to retinol, Floral Essence can therefore also be used on sensitive skin and during pregnancy.

• How can I use Floral Essence in my care routine?

Floral Essence is your first step after cleaning. Then you massage your oil or balm into the still damp skin in order to 'seal' the moisture in the skin.

• Can you mix Floral Essence with other products?

Naturally! You can mix your Cleansing Clay Mask with Floral Essence to enrich it with additional active ingredients.

Or mix Floral Essence with Master Elixir or Everything Oil in the palm of your hand to create a light emulsion (cream).

Floral Essence is also a great cleanser for handicapped and dehydrated skin. Simply put it on a cotton pad and rub it over the uncleaned skin.
