Active ingredients

• Squalane or squalane oil (squalane) is a light, non-comedogenic and non-greasy oil that leaves your skin silky smooth. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents the skin's own fats from oxidizing. The regenerating oil prevents age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple and promotes the oxygen supply and regeneration of the cells. It is mostly obtained from olive oil, more rarely from rice germ or wheat germ oil. For cosmetics, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane no longer contains any unsaturated compounds and is therefore resistant to oxidation and has a longer shelf life.
• Macadamia nut oil (Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil) provides a lot of moisture and cares for particularly dry, cracked and stressed skin. The oil has a skin-smoothing and regenerating effect. The beneficial mixture of unsaturated, healthy fatty acids and the high proportion of vitamins and trace elements have earned the macadamia nut the name “Queen of Nuts”. The fatty acid spectrum is similar to our skin's own sebum and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. The oil is non-comedogenic and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any residue.
• Argan oil (Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil) is extracted from the kernels of the argan fruit. The unique argan trees only grow in southwest Morocco. The oil, which is rich in antioxidants and vitamins, is used in skin and hair care. The high proportion of fatty acids (linoleic acid) promotes the development and maintenance of the skin barrier. Its anti-inflammatory properties help with problematic skin and the high vitamin E content protects against free radicals and promotes cell turnover. It gives the hair moisture, protects against environmental pollution, promotes a healthy appearance and relieves itchy scalp and psoriasis (psoriasis). The non-comedogenic oil also acts as a light, natural heat and UV protection.
• Bakuchiol / Bakuchi Seed Oil (Bakuchi (Psoralea corylifolia) Seed Oil) is obtained from the seeds and leaves of the Indian plant Psoralea Corylifolia and is considered a natural retinol alternative. A powerful plant for treating skin discoloration, hyperpigmentation and leukoderma. With antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties, Bakuchi promotes the natural shade of the skin and helps normalize individual skin pigmentation. Bakuchiol has been shown to stimulate collagen production, minimize wrinkles and lines, and improve the texture and firmness of the skin. The active ingredient has a long tradition as a medicinal plant in Ayurveda and in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Unlike traditional retinoids, it doesn't cause skin burning, irritation, or redness.
• Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) is a powerful, small-molecule antioxidant that penetrates deep into the epidermis. It protects the skin from oxidative stress and has regenerating, skin-restoring, and anti-inflammatory effects. It inhibits collagen breakdown and reduces skin damage caused by free radicals. The enzyme has been proven to help strengthen the skin and reduce wrinkles and fine lines. The Q10 level decreases with age and makes the skin more sensitive to stress.
• Paracress or jambu (Spilanthes acmella) is a South American plant rich in spilanthol. As a natural Botox (phyto-Botox), spilanthol has a muscle-relaxing and skin-tightening effect even at low concentrations. This can visibly smooth and reduce the appearance of small wrinkles. The active ingredient stimulates the supporting network of the dermis (fibroblasts), thereby increasing firmness and elasticity. Paracress is also used as a skin-strengthening ingredient to protect against external influences.
• Safflower oil (Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oil) is extracted from the seed capsules of the safflower or safflower thistle. Cold-pressed safflower oil has a particularly high linoleic acid content and therefore has an anti-inflammatory effect, supports balanced sebum production and works against impurities. Safflower oil can relieve eczema, redness, and itching. The oil also contains vitamins A, E and K, which are important for skin regeneration and help defend against free radicals.
