The Intense Moisturizing Mask also contains natural AHAs from apple leaf extract, which gently exfoliate the skin of dead cells and refine the complexion. Application

• Apply the face mask to a cleansed face, neck, and décolleté, avoiding the eye and mouth area.
• Leave on for 12 to 15 minutes. Gently rinse off with lukewarm water.
• Use 1-2 times a week.
• Tip: This mask can also be used as an eye mask as it is free of so-called creeping oils.

Active ingredients

• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) - The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple and resilient. The oil has an antibacterial effect, is quickly absorbed and contains vitamins B, E, minerals and beta-carotene (provitamin A). Strengthens cell development and cell renewal, counteracts skin aging and strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, jojoba oil is actually not an oil, but a vegetable wax.
• Apple leaf extract (Pyrus Malus (Apple) Leaf Extract) is rich in antioxidants that protect the skin from harmful environmental influences and counteract premature skin aging. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, it can reduce redness and soothe the skin. It also contains fruit acids, especially alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), which promote gentle exfoliation of the skin, improve skin texture and ensure an even complexion. The extract supports regeneration and gives the skin a fresh, revitalized appearance.
• Hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) retains moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a major component of connective tissue, filling and supporting it.Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is partly responsible for the skin's moisture content. Hyaluronic acid thus also promotes skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill fine lines and plump the skin.
• Red ginseng – few other plants have such radiance. Native to Southeast Asia, the tuber has been used in a variety of ways for thousands of years, from as a fountain of youth to as an aphrodisiac. Ginseng stimulates general skin functions and ensures that skin cells are better supplied with important nutrients and moisture. The root supports the process of skin regeneration and increases collagen formation, which can reduce fine lines and wrinkles and make the skin appear firmer and more radiant. At the same time, red ginseng has a calming effect on sensitive skin.
• Carrot extract (Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract) is rich in antioxidants and beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in the skin and promotes skin regeneration. It supports cell renewal, protects against oxidative stress and thus ensures a radiant, healthy complexion, while at the same time moisturizing the skin and improving elasticity.
• Comfrey root (Symphytum Officinale Root / Leaf Extract) also comfrey, comfrey or comfrey is widespread in Europe and belongs to the borage family. Comfrey has been used in herbal medicine since ancient times. Comfrey is used in skin and hair care, especially for inflamed and sensitive skin. The plant has strong cell-regenerating and soothing effects and supports new tissue formation. Comfrey has pain-relieving and circulation-promoting properties and is used to treat wounds, venous disorders, bruises, and hematomas. The root contains allantoin, mucilage, tannins, rosmarinic acid, and alkaloids.
• Prickly Pear Extract (Opuntia Ficus-Indica Extract) is rich in vitamins, proteins, minerals and fatty acids. Has extremely good water-binding properties and protects the skin from oxidative stress. Considered by some as an alternative to botox due to its firming properties.
• Sodium PCA (also called sodium PCA) is the salt of pyrrolidonecarboxylic acid, which is usually obtained from the amino acid L-glutamic acid from sugar cane. The ingredient has a hygroscopic effect, meaning it attracts water and holds it in the skin cells. This way the skin stays moist and supple and is protected from drying out. Together with other natural moisturizing factors such as amino acids, uric acid or lactic acid, PCAs form the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF). The non-irritating, non-comodogenic and well-tolerated sodium PCA is used in skin and hair care products.
• Niacinamide (vitamin B3) – supports the synthesis of lipids and ceramides, which are essential for the skin's barrier function. They improve skin structure and even out uneven skin tone. The vitamins also help with hyperpigmentation and skin redness. Niacinamide can regulate sebum production and reduce overproduction. As a result, pores appear smaller and less "stretched". Thanks to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide can also have a positive effect on inflammation and moderate acne.
