What is the best way to store Green™ nail polishes so that they last as long as possible?

Make sure not to leave the products open for longer than necessary and close them again as quickly as possible. It is best to store the nail polish in a cool place. A lower temperature prevents the nail polish from evaporating and slows down the decomposition process of the formula that occurs over time.

Are Manukurist products natural?

The nail polish ranges are green and clean. They contain up to 84% ingredients of natural origin and are free of endocrine disruptors, monomers and hydroquinone. The Green colors contain sugar cane extract (ethyl acetate) and cassava (butyl acetate), which give the nail polish its liquid texture. Cotton extract (nitrocellulose) helps to form a solid film on the nail. Corn extract (tributyl acetate) and wheat extracts ensure a smooth and shiny surface. In addition, the Green™ series is vegan and certified accordingly by the Vegan Society.

1. Prepare

Use the Manucurist Degreaser to gently and thoroughly remove grease residue for maximum adhesion and longer hold.

2. Dyeing

We have reinvented three essentials from the world of traditional nail polish to strengthen nails, extend hold for up to 7 days and speed up drying.

• Base Coat: The new, even more nourishing formula is enriched with nail-strengthening Hexanal and ensures optimal hold.
• Manucurist Color Lacquer: A new, ultra-pigmented formula enriched with oligomers that prolong hold and increase shine.
• top coat: The Top Coat Sunshine, our bestseller in the Green™ range, extends the hold of nail polishes by 3 days, gives a mirror-like shine with a gel effect and accelerates drying!

3. Drying & Care

• Preparation
• Preparing your nails is really an important step to ensure that your nail polish lasts a long time. After pushing back your cuticles for clean contours and polishing the surface of your nails with a prep file, nothing stands in the way of applying your nail polish.
• Just before painting, don’t forget to clean your nails with the gentle nail polish remover Green to remove grease and dust residues and to improve the adhesion of the paint.
  
• Here we go:
• Remove a small amount of varnish by wiping one side of the brush and keeping only a drop of varnish on the other side.
• Apply your polish in 3 thin and even coats, starting in the middle and spreading the polish on both sides.
• Outline the nail by lightly brushing the edge without removing any new polish. This important step prevents premature flaking of the colored polish and improves its adhesion (its hold?)
• Tips:
• Place your hand flat on the table and hold your brush parallel to the nail.
• Hold your brush practically parallel to the nail, as if you were going to brush over it without applying pressure.
• Apply your polish from the base of the nail to the free edge of the nail. Start in the middle of the nail and then paint the two sides.
• To outline the nail, you do not need to add any more nail polish to the brush. For short nails, pull back the fingertip to expose the edge of the nail.
• Always remember that 4 coats are necessary for a shiny and long-lasting manicure.
• 1 layer Base Coatwhich protects the nail and improves the adhesion of the color varnish layers.
• 2 coats of color for an all-round flawless complexion.
• 1 layer Top Coat, to protect the manicure, reduce drying time, improve hold and provide the desired finish.
