The serum with Retinol Alternative is based on a Mádara specially developed extraction of birch sap. Extremely rich in nutrients, birch extract is known for its healing, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. It also stimulates cell division and fights free radicals.

Active ingredients

• Birch extract/sap (Betula Alba (Birch) Leaf Extract) is obtained from the leaves of the Betula Alba tree. It is known for its skin-healing and cleansing properties and also has an astringent effect. Birch sap has anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties and supports skin regeneration.
• Hyaluronic acid (hyaluronic acid / sodium hyaluronate) stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of the connective tissue, it fills and supports the connective tissue. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the moisture content of the skin. Hyaluronic acid also promotes the firmness and elasticity of the skin. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is a major cause of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and plump the skin.
• lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates and may reduce hyperpigmentation and age spots. It also has the ability to shrink large pores and revitalize dull, uneven complexions.
• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple and resilient. • Murumuru butter (Astrocaryum murumura seed butter) is obtained from seeds of the Murumuru palm. Used by locals in the Amazon for centuries, the butter moisturizes and soothes dry, cracked and sensitive skin. With an effective composition of essential fatty acids and pro-vitamin A, Murumura helps restore the elasticity of mature and damaged skin.
