The Kojic Alternative Pigment Serum was specifically developed to treat melanin-related discolorations. The formula is based on powerful, natural active ingredients such as alpha-arbutin, Bidens pilosa, and juniper stem cells.

Application

• Apply to cleansed skin every morning and evening.
• Sequence: Use after cleansing your face and applying toner. Follow with moisturizer.
• For best results, always use sunscreen during the day. 

Active ingredients

• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) - The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple and resilient. The oil has an antibacterial effect, is quickly absorbed and contains vitamins B, E, minerals and beta-carotene (provitamin A). Strengthens cell development and cell renewal, acts against skin aging and strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier.
• Alpha Arbutin (Alpha-Arbutin) is an active ingredient for lightening pigment spots and is extracted from the bearberry (Arctostaphylos). It specifically inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase, which is involved in the formation of melanin, and can thus significantly improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. Compared to other lightening agents such as kojic acid, alpha arbutin is considered significantly milder and less irritating.
• Murumuru butter (Astrocaryum murumura seed butter) is obtained from seeds of the Murumuru palm. Used by locals in the Amazon for centuries, the butter moisturizes and soothes dry, cracked and sensitive skin. With an effective composition of essential fatty acids and pro-vitamin A, Murumura helps restore the elasticity of mature and damaged skin. The butter also has strong antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, penetrates the skin quickly and leaves the skin feeling smooth, velvety-soft.
• Bidens Pilosa, also known as Bidens, offers a gentle, plant-based alternative to retinol in skin care by promoting cell regeneration, refining the skin's texture and reducing fine lines without irritating side effects. Thanks to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, it protects the skin from free radicals, soothes irritated skin and supports collagen production, resulting in a firmer, smoother complexion.
• Flaxseed Oil/Extract (Linum Usitatissimum (Flax) Seed Extract/Oil) – The oil's high omega-3 content has anti-inflammatory properties and can help quell breakouts and soothe irritated, dry skin. The oil locks in moisture and keeps the skin hydrated and healthy, which can help the skin become firmer. In addition, cell-regenerating properties are ascribed to it. In hair care, flaxseed supplies the hair follicles with nutrients and promotes hair growth and hair elasticity. Combats dry and flaky scalp.
• Juniper stem cells (Juniperus Communis (Juniper) Callus Culture Extract) is a plant-based active ingredient obtained from juniper cell culture. This extract is rich in secondary plant substances with antioxidant effects and is particularly valued in skin care for its cell-protective, regenerating, and balancing properties. Juniper stem cells can help improve skin balance, reduce oxidative stress, and protect the skin from environmental damage.
