MádaraThe Age Pro line is based on revitalizing Nordic birch sap, red algae extracts, and fermented alteromonas extract. They intensively moisturize the skin, make facial contours appear more defined, and provide a fresh, healthy appearance.

Application

• Apply to cleansed skin in the evening and massage in gently.
• For gentle facial cleansing, use a cleansing oil, a mild foam cleanser, micellar water, a moisturizing facial soap or a gel.

Active ingredients

• Birch sap has a proven positive effect on signs of premature skin aging. Birch is known for its skin-healing and cleansing properties and also acts as an astringent. Birch has anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties, supports scalp health, and is effective against hair loss and dandruff.
• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) - The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple and resilient. The oil has an antibacterial effect, is quickly absorbed and contains vitamins B, E, minerals and beta-carotene (provitamin A). Strengthens cell development and cell renewal, counteracts skin aging and strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, jojoba oil is actually not an oil, but a vegetable wax.
• Rice bran oil (Oryza sativa bran oil) is obtained from the fat and vitamin-rich rice bran, which consists of the pericarp and seed husk of the rice grain. The oil contains high levels of vitamin E and essential unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic acid, linolenic acid, and myristic acid). It is a light, quickly absorbed oil that has a soothing effect on irritated and dry skin. The active ingredient is also frequently used for sensitive or barrier-damaged skin.
• Squalane, or squalane oil, is a light, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky-smooth. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore easily absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents the oxidation of the skin's natural oils. This regenerating oil prevents age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, softens the skin, and promotes oxygenation and cell regeneration. It is usually extracted from olive oil, but less frequently from rice germ or wheat germ oil. For cosmetic use, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane no longer contains any unsaturated compounds and is therefore resistant to oxidation and has a longer shelf life. Incidentally, squalane was originally extracted from shark liver, hence its name. Squalus is the Latin name for shark.
• Mango Seed Butter (Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter) - Native mango butter is the kernel fat of the tropical fruit. Mango butter provides moisture and has a calming and regenerating effect on the skin and scalp. The nutritious butter contains various fatty acids, vitamins A, C, D and E as well as various minerals.
• Hyaluronic acid (hyaluronic acid / sodium hyaluronate) stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of the connective tissue, it fills and supports the connective tissue. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the moisture content of the skin. Hyaluronic acid also promotes the firmness and elasticity of the skin. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is a major cause of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and plump the skin.
• Curly star kelp (Gigartina stellata extract) is a red algae species from the North Atlantic that is similar to carrageenan (Chondrus crispus (carrageenan)), which is why the two are also called “twin red algae”. It provides intensive moisture, has a soothing effect on skin irritations and redness and forms a protective film that protects the skin from environmental influences. It also contains antioxidants that help to fight free radicals and slow down premature aging of the skin.
• Alteromonas Ferment Extract is derived from the fermentation of marine bacteria and is rich in amino acids, vitamins and minerals. In skin care, it offers moisturizing, soothing and anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and skin irritation. In addition, the extract promotes cell renewal, improves skin elasticity and protects against harmful environmental influences, making it a valuable ingredient in moisturizing and regenerating products.
