Active ingredients

• Birch leaf extract (Betula Alba (Birch) Leaf Extract) is extracted from the leaves of the Betula Alba tree. It is known for its skin-healing and cleansing properties and also has astringent properties. Birch has anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties, supports scalp health and is effective against hair loss and dandruff.
• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) - The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple and resilient. The oil has an antibacterial effect, is quickly absorbed and contains vitamins B, E, minerals and beta-carotene (provitamin A). Strengthens cell development and cell renewal, counteracts skin aging and strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, jojoba oil is actually not an oil, but a vegetable wax.
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruits of the shea tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and beta carotene, butter protects against environmental pollution, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Squalane or squalane oil (squalane) is a light, non-comedogenic and non-greasy oil that leaves your skin silky smooth. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents the skin's own fats from oxidizing. This regenerating oil prevents age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, softens the skin, and promotes oxygenation and cell regeneration. It is usually extracted from olive oil, but less frequently from rice germ or wheat germ oil. For cosmetic use, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane no longer contains unsaturated compounds and is therefore resistant to oxidation and has a longer shelf life.
• The fruits and bark of the Arjun tree (Terminalia Arjuna) have a long tradition in Ayurvedic medicine. Its bark contains a variety of bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, triterpenes, and antioxidants. Arjun extract is used in skin care for its protective, vascular-strengthening, and antioxidant properties.
• The wax of the lacquer tree (Rhus Verniciflua Peel Wax) is extracted from the bark of the Japanese lacquer tree (Rhus verniciflua). In skin care, it is valued for its skin-protecting and nourishing properties. It forms a light, protective barrier on the skin that locks in moisture and protects it from external influences. It also gives skin care products a pleasant texture and increases suppleness.
• Hyaluronic acid (hyaluronic acid / sodium hyaluronate) stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of the connective tissue, it fills and supports the connective tissue. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the moisture content of the skin. Hyaluronic acid also promotes the firmness and elasticity of the skin. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is a major cause of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and plump the skin.
• Alteromonas Ferment Extract is obtained from the fermentation of marine bacteria and is rich in amino acids, vitamins and minerals. In skincare, it offers moisturizing, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and skin irritation. The extract also promotes cell renewal, improves skin elasticity, and protects against harmful environmental influences, making it a valuable ingredient in moisturizing and regenerating products.
