The bitter orange tree, also known as Seville orange, belongs to the citrus family. With its white, aromatic flowers and juicy oranges, this tree has always been known for its therapeutic and soothing properties. Anne-Marie de la Trémoille, Princess of Nerola, a village near Rome, made the neroli essence famous in the 17th century when she used it to perfume her gloves, dresses and baths.
With a sweet and refreshing floral scent, neroli hydrosol is valued above all for its calming, balancing and firming properties.
