Sun protection for on the go with an extremely high protection factor. The new sun protection stick with SPF 50+ from Laboratoires de Biarritz combines natural and harmless synthetic UV filters to provide highly effective, invisible broad-spectrum protection.

The formulation, enriched with plant-based organic carnauba wax and jojoba oil, glides gently over the skin and is easy and pleasant to apply.

The few synthetic ingredients in our new sunscreen stick are essential for the stability and effectiveness of the formula and unfortunately do not exist with natural origin. These ingredients are carefully selected by our research and development department in compliance with cosmetics regulations and are only used if there is proof of their harmlessness.

Application

• Areas of application: face, lips and sensitive areas.
• Apply evenly and generously to healthy skin 20 minutes before sunbathing. Repeat the application frequently in sufficient quantities, especially after each swim.
• Avoid exposure to the sun between 12 p.m. and 16 p.m., otherwise wear protective clothing.
• Babies and small children under 3 years of age should not be exposed to the sun. Excessive exposure to the sun is a health hazard. If the amount applied is too small, the protection will be significantly reduced.

To further guarantee the protection of our planet, we felt it was essential to scientifically assess the impact of our sunscreens on aquatic ecosystems.

That's why we tested their biodegradability¹ and carried out ecotoxicity studies under extreme conditions², both in sea water, because we wanted to record the impact on the ocean, and in fresh water, because we must not forget that the sunscreens can also be affected by showering after exposure to the sun get into the water.

For a comprehensive and realistic overview, these studies were carried out on an exceptionally large number of species, since we observed no less than 7 plankton and sediment organisms from fresh and marine water, which have different trophic levels and are representative of the different aquatic food chains .

These studies conclude that our sunscreens are not ecotoxic to aquatic ecosystems.
