• Black cumin oil consists mainly of linoleic acid, an essential omega 6 fatty acid.
• Linoleic acid is one of the unsaturated fatty acids and the body uses it to form the two important omega 6 fatty acids: gamma-linolenic acid and arachidonic acid. Black cumin also contains high-quality oleic acid as well as essential oils (thymoquinone), important minerals and secondary plant substances.

FAQ

Why does the capsule shell contain ethanol?

Our black cumin oil capsules consist of a tasteless HPMC (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose) capsule that is sealed and compressed with a transparent band. Ethanol in the band is used to hold the capsule halves together. Ethanol makes up <1% of the capsule and is therefore contained in a lower concentration than in a ripe banana. We chose this variant of the capsule shell because it contains fewer additives than softgel capsules.

Pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children

In principle, there is nothing to prevent you from taking our black cumin oil capsules during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. We recommend that pregnant women consult a doctor before using essential oils.
And if you are unsure about the dosage, please discuss it with a medical professional/midwife beforehand.

For children, we recommend consulting a pediatrician in advance - also with regard to an adjusted dosage.
