Active ingredients

• Bakuchiol / Bakuchi Seed Oil (Bakuchi (Psoralea corylifolia) Seed Oil) is obtained from the seeds and leaves of the Indian plant Psoralea Corylifolia and is considered a natural retinol alternative. A powerful plant for treating skin discoloration, hyperpigmentation and leukoderma. With antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties, Bakuchi promotes the natural shade of the skin and helps normalize individual skin pigmentation. Bakuchiol has been shown to stimulate collagen production, minimize wrinkles and lines, and improve the texture and firmness of the skin. The active ingredient has a long tradition as a medicinal plant in Ayurveda and in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Unlike traditional retinoids, it does not cause skin burning, irritation or redness.
• Squalane or squalane oil (squalane) is a light, non-comedogenic and non-greasy oil that leaves your skin silky smooth. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents the oxidation of the skin's own fats. The regenerating oil prevents age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is usually obtained from olive oil, more rarely from rice germ or wheat germ oil. Squalene is converted into squalane for cosmetic purposes. Squalane no longer contains any unsaturated compounds and is therefore resistant to oxidation and has a longer shelf life. By the way, squalane was originally obtained from shark liver, hence the name. Squalus is the Latin name for shark.
• Prickly pear oil (Opuntia Ficus-Indica Seed Oil) has a very high content of vitamin E, amino acids, antioxidants and omega fatty acids. It fights dryness and helps the skin lock in its own natural oils. It strengthens the skin's own UV protection, is quickly absorbed and makes the skin soft and supple.
• Raspberry Seed Oil / Extract (Rubus Idaeus Seed Oil / Extract) is a natural source of fatty acids. The high content of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids helps maintain skin elasticity and stimulates the regeneration of skin cells. The seed oil is also considered a natural UV protector and can absorb UVB rays (to a limited extent). The fruit also supports the skin's self-healing powers, fights inflammation, and supports the moisture supply and barrier protection of our skin.
• Castor oil (Ricinus communis seed oil) consists largely of ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The oil works against impurities, moisturizes, improves the texture of scars and smoothes the skin. • The anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects of cinnamon (Cinnamomum (Cinnamon) Cassia Bark Extract) can work against blemishes, pimples and blackheads and refine pores. • Rice bran oil (Oryza sativa bran oil) is obtained from the fat and vitamin-rich rice bran, which consists of the pericarp and seed coat of the rice grain. The oil contains a lot of vitamin E and essential unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic acid, linolenic acid, myristic acid). It is a light, fast-absorbing oil that has a soothing effect on irritated and dry skin conditions. The active ingredient is also often used for sensitive or barrier-impaired skin.
• Avocado (persea gratissima oil / fruit extract) are rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, proteins, copper, folic acid, and magnesium – all building blocks for healthy skin and hair. Due to its high phytosterol content, it is easy to spread and quickly absorbed.
