FAQ

What dyes are used in the lipsticks? Why aren't there only natural dyes?

We use a combination of natural pigments and food-safe dyes. Food coloring is a synthetic form of color. When formulating certain lip colors, the use of food coloring was preferred over the use of carmine (ground up beetle skin) to achieve a richer shade.

What is the durability?

It's our longest-wearing formula and contains four times more pigments than any other lipstick ILIA has ever made.

What does the finish look like?

Creamy and rich. Blot with a paper towel and our Soft focus Finishing Powder to achieve a matte look.

Do I need a lip liner?

This rich formula doesn't fray, so only when you want it to.

I have very dry lips. Can I still wear this formula?

Yes, the Color Block Lipstick is rich in nourishing oils, such as: B. Organic castor oil and apricot kernel oil, which nourish and soften the lips. For more moisture, you can prep the lips with lip conditioner, which can also smooth the formula a bit.

Can you use the Color Block Lipstick together with the Tinted Lip Conditioner?

• The Color Block Lipstick can be used in three ways:
• If you want full coverage and high impact, apply directly to your bare lips.
• For a diffused, stippled look, apply with your finger and roll over your lips.
• Do you want more moisture? Prep your lips with a lip conditioner to moisturize them and add a touch of shine.
