- Hyaluronic acid (hyaluronic acid / sodium hyaluronate) stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of the connective tissue, it fills and supports the connective tissue. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the moisture content of the skin. Hyaluronic acid also promotes the firmness and elasticity of the skin. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is a major cause of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and plump the skin.
- Birch leaf extract (Betula Alba (Birch) Leaf Extract) is extracted from the leaves of the Betula Alba tree. It is known for its skin-healing and cleansing properties and also has astringent properties. Birch has anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties, supports scalp health and is effective against hair loss and dandruff.
- Lemon Oil (Citrus Limon Fruit Oil) is rich in vitamin C, flavonoids and carotenoids and offers a strong antioxidant effect. The essential oil has a regulating effect and combats excess sebum. Lemon essential oil also has anti-inflammatory, bactericidal and detoxifying effects. The oil is obtained from the peel of lemons.
- lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates and may reduce hyperpigmentation and age spots. It also has the ability to shrink large pores and revitalize dull, uneven complexions.
- Glycerin – The sugar alcohol is part of the body's skin's own moisture retention system. Lipids (fats) in the skin are made up of glycerin and fatty acids. Glycerin has a hydrating effect and helps prevent water loss. Glycerine also has a stabilizing effect on the skin's barrier function.
