Active ingredients

• Betaine (betaine, betaine, cocamidopropyl betaine, trimethylglycine, glycine betaine) is a natural amino acid derivative that is obtained from sugar molasses (e.g. sugar beet). Depending on the form, betaine is used in skin care or as a surfactant. In skin care, betaine has a conditioning effect, relieves irritation and protects against dehydration. It has high moisturizing properties. In washing-active products, it has a foam-stabilizing effect; as an additive in shampoos and hair conditioners, it strengthens the hair, gives it volume and increases the grip of the hair.
• Hair is mostly made up of keratin protein. Keratin can be affected by environmental influences and external stress. If there is too little protein, the hair appears lifeless and dull and can break. Proteins strengthen the hair, can rebuild it and make it resistant. Proteins help repair the cuticle and act as a protective shield for the hair shaft. Proteins fight signs of hair damage like split ends and excessive dryness.
• Nettle Extract (Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Leaf Extract) is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. Stinging nettle is traditionally used to treat eczema, wounds and even psoriasis. The extracts are rich in vitamins A and E, flavonoids, carotenoids and sitosterol and help the skin protect itself from environmental stress. Stinging nettle has a sebum-regulating effect.
• amino acids keep your skin and hair supple. Due to their small size, they easily penetrate the skin and help transport moisture through the skin. They support the production of collagen and elastin and protect the skin from free radicals. Some amino acids act like antioxidants themselves, but most amino acids help the skin to produce its own antioxidants.
• lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates and may reduce hyperpigmentation and age spots. It also has the ability to shrink large pores and revitalize dull, uneven complexions.
• Linseed Oil / Extract (Linum Usitatissimum (Flax) Seed Extract/Oil) – The oil’s high omega-3 content has anti-inflammatory properties and can quell breakouts and soothe irritated, dry skin. The oil locks in moisture and keeps skin and hair hydrated and healthy, which can help skin become firmer. It is also said to have cell-regenerating properties. In hair care, flaxseed supplies the hair follicles with nutrients and promotes hair growth and hair elasticity. Combats dry and flaky scalp.
• Arginine is a natural amino acid that stabilizes the skin's pH value and supports the skin's barrier function. Arginine stimulates blood circulation in the skin and hair, can regenerate skin damage and is involved in the formation of muscle cells and collagen and promotes the development of connective tissue. Arginine is also very kind to the skin. Through food, we can get arginine from things like peanuts, lentils, salmon, eggs, chicken breast, and pumpkin seeds.
• Coconutside is made from coconut oil and is a mild, plant-based surfactant used in skin washing and cleansing products. Non-ionic surfactants are very good fat dissolvers, very mild and tolerable and completely harmless to people and the environment. When proteins and fats are whipped, fine balls are created that enclose the resulting air bubbles. This creates a nice, harmless foam. Sodium Cocoate is the sodium salt of coconut fatty acids.
