This fine brass tea strainer is hand-woven in India. The close-mesh strainer fits a larger cup or teapot and is suitable for any type of loose tea.
Due to its depth, you can fill the tea basket completely with tea for a larger brew or half full for a single serving. The handles rest on the edge and can be used to brew or strain loose tea, herbs or flowers. Over time the brass acquires a rich patina.
