Eucalyptus Radiata, also known as narrow-leaved eucalyptus, is characterized by an intensely fresh scent and is a cooling support for deep and clear breathing. Rich in cineoles, Eucalyptus Radiata is considered the most therapeutically versatile of all eucalyptus oils.

Eucalyptus has a refreshing and stimulating effect on the mind and helps to increase concentration. Eucalyptus oil has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties. The oil also has a mild antispasmodic effect, inhibits the growth of bacteria and has a cooling effect on the skin and mucous membranes. During colds, it stimulates the bronchi to release water. The mucus loosens and is easier to cough up. The plant also helps when the nose and frontal sinus are blocked.

Its powerful properties make eucalyptus oil an excellent aid for direct inhalation or for diffuser use when the children bring home colds from school. Eucalyptus oil also promotes blood circulation. It helps with muscle pain, which can be relieved by increased blood flow. On top of that, it has a relaxing effect.

Application

• Diffuser: Diffuse this cool and fresh oil in your home daily and at night, for respiratory colds or you want to have fresh and clean air. Can be mixed with other oils such as peppermint and conifer to increase effectiveness.
• Inhale: Add one to two drops to a bowl of boiling/very hot water. Be careful with the dosage, the oil can be irritating. Pour over and place a towel over your head and bowl to prevent loss of steam. Inhale the vapor with your eyes closed.
• Other Recommended Uses:
• Eucalyptus oil can be used diluted topically as a compress, in the bathtub, by direct inhalation, or in a diffuser.
• Add a few drops to water in a spray bottle to reduce pet and musty odors.
• Add a few drops to your massage oil and rub into the chest to promote open and clear breathing.
• Massage diluted eucalyptus oil (2% eucalyptus, 98% carrier oil) to promote body and joint wellness. Helps with muscle problems, joint problems and rheumatic problems.
