What is cellulose acetate?
The Sasstie range is made from 98% cellulose acetate. Unlike plastic, synthetic resin or plastic, this material is based on natural and renewable raw materials such as the pulp of fruit and vegetables. Cellulose acetate is formed in reaction with acetic acid. The relatively new raw material made from renewable and natural raw materials is 100% plant-based and free of animal by-products.
The material is a high-end raw material for high-quality accessories, because cellulose acetate is extremely durable due to its high quality and robustness. Cellulose acetate is resource-saving, environmentally friendly, resilient, not easy to break and consists of renewable, natural and renewable raw materials.
