Gamma-linolenic acid is a fatty acid from the omega-6 family and has an intensely regenerating, moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effect. The oil improves that Suppleness and elasticity of the skin and promotes a healthy skin tone.
- This fatty acid is the precursor to the phospholipids that make up cell membranes. It has exceptional regenerative power and remarkable anti-aging properties. Dry, lifeless and tired skin is revitalized.
- A high vitamin C content (The fresh borage plant has a content of 150 milligrams of vitamin C per 100 grams - a lemon approx. 55 milligrams!) together with vitamin E. makes it a powerful antioxidant.
- Borage oil soothes sensitive skin, relieves itching, has anti-inflammatory and wound healing effects. It is often used for diseases such as eczema, psoriasis and neurodermatitis.
Borage oil is made from the seeds of the Borago officinalis (borage plant). The plant is also known as cucumber herb, Herzfreude or Wohlgemutsblume.

Application
