Application

• Apply an even layer to cleansed face.
• After 10-20 minutes, rinse thoroughly with warm water and then apply Grand Amino Cushion Cream for best results.
• Use up to twice a week before bed. Do not use other exfoliating products in the same routine. A slight tingling and/or reddening upon application may occur and is normal.
• Always apply sunscreen the morning after use (but also generally every day).
• Note: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) which may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. It is best to apply sunscreen daily for a week after using AHA.

Active ingredients

• 10% AHA blend: Lactic acid, mandelic acid and malic acid are chemical peeling substances in different molecular sizes. They gently break down debris and dead skin cells that build up on the skin's surface. AHAs help with impure skin, fight pimples and reduce acne scars. They promote blood circulation and can lighten pigment spots and refine pores.
• 8% PHA - Gluconolactone is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA). An ester of gluconic acid found in honey, fermented products, wine and fruit juices. Gluconolactone has astringent properties, making pores appear smaller. The acid moisturizes and has a strong antioxidant effect. Gluconolactone is gentle and can also be used on sensitive skin.
• 2% BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) / Salicylic Acid (Salicylic Acid) - A nature-identical organic acid with antimicrobial and keratolytic properties. Removes dead cells, supports cell renewal and inhibits sebum secretion. Ingredient for oily skin prone to breakouts, blackheads, or acne.
• Diglucosyl Gallic Acid: This molecule is activated by your skin's microbiome and partially converted into tri-hydroxy-benzoic acid, a natural melanin synthesis inhibitor. It has skin lightening, anti-inflammatory and photoprotective properties that help even out and improve overall skin tone.
• Peach Kernel Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Glycerin and Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides: These nourishing ingredients create a protective buffer to allow the above acids to work their magic without causing undue irritation. 
• Wakame Bioferment Advanced (Undaria Pinnatifida Cell Culture Extract): This unique active ingredient derived from algae is contained in cultivated Wakame cells. It contributes to cell longevity by minimizing cellular damage in the mitochondria, which helps prevent premature aging from occurring.
• AcquaSeal algae (Chlamydomonas reinhardtii extract): This oil-soluble active ingredient is obtained from a particularly robust green alga. Able to thrive in extreme environments, the algae produces a bioactive complex of lipids and fatty acids that renews and hydrates cells to promote cell proliferation and have anti-inflammatory effects.
• N-Acetyl Glucosamine: A stable and potent form of biofermented glucosamine, this skin-identical active ingredient helps reduce hyperpigmentation, to increase the water content of the skin with hyaluronic acid and to maintain its barrier functions.
• Magnesium: The mineral helps reduce inflammation in the skin, protects against free radical damage, and is helpful for the enzymes that regulate cell turnover and cell repair.
• Antioxidant Blend: Turmeric Root Extract: A powerful soothing antioxidant that disrupts trigger signals in surface cells that lead to irritation. Ginkgo Biloba Extract: A powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from signs of premature aging and inflammation. Oat Kernel Extract: This super-soothing antioxidant is rich in beta-glucan and lipids that help protect and plump skin.
