Eye makeup brush
For professional eye makeup, the right brushes are an irreplaceable tool. No matter what look you want to create, a high-quality brush can make the difference between a smudged mess and a beautifully defined look.
What different types of eye makeup brushes are there?
The classic among eye make-up brushes is the flat eyeshadow brush. With a compact brush head and flat but fairly firm bristles, both cream and powder eyeshadow can be applied precisely. The dense bristles are particularly good at picking up eyeshadow so that it can be applied directly and generously to the entire eyelid. This brush shape is also very suitable for applying an eyeshadow primer.
The eye shadow can then be blended using a soft, bushy brush. A so-called blender brush is slightly larger than an eye shadow brush and has fluffy bristles that ensure that hard edges of the eye shadow color are harmoniously combined.
The third in the group is the eyebrow brush. The bristles of this type of brush are shorter and more tightly bound than those of an eye shadow brush. Thanks to the angled bristles, eyebrows can be precisely outlined and small gaps filled in.
Another brush for applying eyebrow products is the spoolie. A spoolie looks like a mascara brush and can be used to work in pomade and tame stray hairs to give the eyebrows a tidy and neat look.
