Application

• Thoroughly clean the face, e.g. with the Cleansing And Purifying Black Gel.
• Apply a hazelnut-sized amount to cleansed face and massage in. 
• If you use facial mist after cleansing, apply the cream to the skin that is still damp. So moisture is stored and does not evaporate.
• Note: La Canopée works with raw (unrefined) raw materials. The color and scent of each raw material can vary depending on the season and all the elements involved in growing and harvesting the plants. For example, buriti oil can vary in color depending on the harvest. Depending on the manufacturing process, the cream can then range from pale yellow to intense orange. However, it is always the same day cream and its effectiveness is always the same!

Active ingredients

• Rooibos contains several powerful antioxidants, particularly polyphenols such as aspalathin, nothofagin, quercetin and luteolin. These antioxidants are just as effective in cosmetics as they are in teas. Rooibos helps to relieve skin irritations such as eczema or erythema.
• Macadamia nut oil (Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil) provides a lot of moisture and cares for particularly dry, cracked and stressed skin. The oil has a skin-smoothing and regenerating effect. The advantageous mixture of unsaturated, healthy fatty acids and the high proportion of vitamins and trace elements have also earned the macadamia nut the name "king of nuts". The fatty acid spectrum is similar to our skin's own sebum and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. The oil is non-comedogenic and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any residue.
• Sesame oil (Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil) consists largely of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic acid and oleic acid. The oil with lecithin and vitamins E and A dissolves harmful deposits from the skin and thus signs of premature aging. Sesame oil also has a soothing effect, reduces redness and strengthens the skin's protective barrier.
• Algae contain a high concentration of antioxidants, trace elements such as iodine, zinc, potassium or beta-carotene and bioactive compounds such as alginic acid, ascorbic acid or carotenoids. These bioactive components support cell renewal and promote clear, smooth and soft skin. Antioxidants help fight free radical damage, and the amino acids, vitamins, and minerals found in brown seaweed stimulate elastin and collagen production.
• Buriti oil (also called Morete) is obtained from the fruits of the Buriti palm (Mauritia vinifera / Mauritia flexuosa), which is mainly found in Brazil. Buriti oil is characterized by a high concentration of oleic acid, tocopherols (vitamin precursors), provitamin A and carotenoids, in particular a very high proportion of beta-carotene (5 times that of carrot). The nourishing oil has strong antioxidant properties, supports cell regeneration and offers light natural protection against UV rays. The potent anti-aging oil cares for the skin and hair and can normalize sebum production.
• Astringent, regenerating, healing and antiseptic, Bergamot essential oil (Citrus Aurantium Bergamia) Excellent for treating skin problems such as acne, eczema or psoriasis. It regulates sebum secretion, helps in wound healing and skin cell regeneration. Bergamot invigorates and refreshes, smells citrusy and yet spicy with its own character, like an "Italian spring morning after the rain". Bergamot is a hybrid of bitter orange and lime.
• Vetiver (Vetiveria zizanioides) is a tropical sweet grass characterized by a dense root system. Vetiver essential oil is obtained from the roots and is often used in perfumes. It has a long-lasting woody-balsamic odor with strong earthy, root-like and smoky notes. Vetiver is also used in naturopathy, aromatherapy and Ayurveda. It promotes relaxation, strengthens the immune system and is considered a remedy for fever and headaches.
