The Refreshing Foot Balm combines the nourishing properties of shea butter with the cooling freshness of peppermint and the soothing effect of allantoin to revitalize tired feet and give them new energy.

The light texture is quickly absorbed and provides intensive moisture without leaving a greasy film. Sage and thyme have a deodorizing effect, while zinc oxide protects and soothes the skin. Ideal for daily care and refreshment of stressed feet.

Active ingredients

• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruits of the shea tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and beta carotene, butter protects against environmental pollution, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Potassium Palmitoyl Hydrolyzed Rice Protein – After penetrating the upper layers of the skin, hydrolyzed rice proteins help build and repair the skin barrier, leaving the skin looking healthier, more radiant and smoother. The amino acids contained strengthen the skin's resilience, improve moisture retention and promote a smoother complexion. Hydrolyzed proteins are broken down by hydrolysis into smaller peptides (amino acid chains) that can be more easily absorbed by the skin.
• Zinc oxide is a mineral ingredient derived from zinc ore and is known for its UV-reflecting and protective properties. Thanks to its astringent and soothing properties, it is often used as a powder additive, especially for skin prone to blemishes.
• Olive oil (Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit / Leaf Oil) provides moisture and makes the skin feel soft. Consists of 85% essential fatty acids with a high proportion of linoleic acid that supports the skin's protective barrier. Vitamin E and polyphenols are powerful radical scavengers and protect against premature skin aging.
• Comfrey root (Symphytum Officinale Root / Leaf Extract) also comfrey, comfrey or comfrey is widespread in Europe and belongs to the borage family. Comfrey has been used in herbal medicine since ancient times. Comfrey is used in skin and hair care, especially for inflamed and sensitive skin. The plant has a strong cell-regenerating and calming effect and supports the formation of new tissue. Comfrey has a pain-relieving and circulation-stimulating effect and is used to treat wounds, venous disorders, bruises or hematomas. The root contains allantoin, mucilage, tannins, rosmarinic acid and alkaloids.
• Carnauba wax (Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax), obtained from the leaves of the Brazilian carnauba palm, is a natural, plant-based growth substance known for its outstanding emollient properties. It provides a smooth texture and offers a protective, water-repellent film on the skin.
• The Candelilla bush, native to Mexico, has adapted to the scorching heat of its environment. Its branches and leaves are covered in a wax that protects against moisture loss and environmental stress: Candelilla wax (Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax). The wax is used as a consistency and shaping component in cosmetic products. In combination with other oils, it leaves the skin feeling pleasant and non-sticky after application. It gives hair shine and suppleness. Candelilla wax is also used in the food industry and can be consumed without hesitation. Along with carnauba wax and berry wax, it is considered a plant-based alternative to beeswax.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit the oxidation of oil, thereby preventing blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the natural function of the skin's protective barrier.
• Allantoin is mainly obtained from the root of the marshmallow (Althaea Officinalis) and the leaves and roots of the comfrey (Symphytum Officinale) and is known for its healing and soothing properties. It promotes cell regeneration, soothes skin irritations and helps moisturize the skin, resulting in a smoother and healthier complexion.
