The clarifying formula with aloe vera, witch hazel and tea tree oil cleanses thoroughly, while soothing plant extracts from willowherb, wild carrots, green tea and ginger ensure a balanced skin feeling.

The Purifying Cleansing Gel also contains extracts from cartilage kelp and grapes, which are rich in antioxidants and protect the skin from harmful environmental influences and premature skin aging. Both extracts help to improve skin elasticity and moisture levels. Papaya, on the other hand, contains the gently exfoliating enzyme papain, which removes dead skin cells and cleanses pores, while papaya juice also provides intensive moisture, supports regeneration and promotes skin elasticity. In addition, cartilage kelp extract relieves irritation and redness, thereby soothing the skin.

Application

• Apply the Purifying Cleansing Gel daily morning and evening to the damp face, neck and décolleté.
• Massage it in gently in circular movements and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.
• Tip: The cleansing gel can be easily lathered up using a sea sponge, making it ideal for wet shaving.

Active ingredients

• Aloe Vera Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents the skin from drying out and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe Vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes and essential amino acids. Provides oxygen to the skin and is believed to be effective in supporting cell renewal. Binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect.
• Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) Leaf is a member of the mint family and is considered a calming herb. The plant has been used since medieval times to relieve stress and anxiety, promote sleep, increase appetite and relieve discomfort from indigestion. Studies have shown that lemon balm may be helpful in reducing anxiety symptoms by elevating mood and lowering levels of stress hormones. Additionally, there is evidence that lemon balm improves cognitive function and may reduce feelings of stress and tension.
• Green tea extract (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract) is distilled from the leaves of the synesis plant. Green tea has powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Helps fight acne and breakouts, has a cleansing effect, and promotes a clear complexion. Used to combat premature aging of the skin and hair, it promotes the reduction of pores and makes the skin look fresher. Green tea also has a calming effect, it can reduce redness and irritation, and relieve itching.
• Witch Hazel / Witch Hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana Leaf Extract) – Witch hazel leaf extract is made from the leaves and bark of the shrub. Helps remove excess oil, is anti-inflammatory and balances the pH of the skin. Known for reducing acne and firming the skin. Natural healing properties for a clearer complexion.
• Glycerin – The sugar alcohol is part of the body's skin's own moisture retention system. Lipids (fats) in the skin are made up of glycerin and fatty acids. Glycerin has a hydrating effect and helps prevent water loss. Glycerine also has a stabilizing effect on the skin's barrier function.
• Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan) Extract is a species of red algae native to the North Atlantic and offers numerous skin care benefits. It provides intensive moisture, has a soothing effect on skin irritations and redness and forms a protective film that protects the skin from environmental influences. It also contains antioxidants that help to fight free radicals and slow down premature aging of the skin.

• The mystical substance frankincense (Boswellia Carterii (Frankincense) Resin Extract/Oil) is probably familiar to most people by its smell. Frankincense oil or extract is obtained from the resin of the Boswellia tree and has been used in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. Frankincense is considered an anti-inflammatory with over 200 active substances. Boswellic acid unfolds its soothing and anti-inflammatory effect, especially on blemished skin, neurodermatitis or skin afflicted with rosacea.
• Like most essential oils, valuable tea tree oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil) is obtained by steam distillation. Tea tree oil is antiseptic and has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Especially in the case of pimples, blemishes and inflammatory skin problems such as acne, tea tree oil combats the causes and can alleviate discomfort. The evergreen tea tree comes from Australia.
• Thyme essential oil (Thymus Zygis Oil) – Obtained by steam distillation of the flowers and leaves of thyme, this oil is a real treat for the skin and respiratory tract.
