Joseph Franz initially decided to study economics. But a sports accident led him back to his passion for nature. After his accident, he began to pursue his passion for herbal remedies and studied at the University of Pharmacology in Urbino. He also deepened his knowledge abroad and became intensively involved in naturopathy. His in-depth knowledge of the healing power of nature helped him alleviate his pain and even avoid surgery.

With inexhaustible curiosity and profound knowledge of plant-based active ingredients, he revolutionized the industry in 1986 by developing the world's first high-tech Natural Cosmetics®. This creative phase enabled him to explore a variety of interdisciplinary topics and make exciting discoveries about plant-based active ingredients.
