BIARRITZ LABORATORIES / ALGA MARIS

Muriel and Jean Marc Dubois founded Laboratoires de Biarritz in 2011 - it was the realization of an adventurous dream. As passionate surfers, they were looking for sun protection products that were effective, optimally tolerated and harmless to the sea and its creatures. Her love for the sea and environmental protection led to her founding her own cosmetics company. 

Alga Maris, an organic certified sun care, became the first line of the Laboratoires de Biarritz. The sun care products from Alga Maris are a combination of various protective active ingredients of natural origin, mineral UV filters and the patented radical catcher Alga-Gorria® - for the best possible sunscreen your skin. Including the innovative, tinted sun cream for the face with SPF 50 or SPF 30. 

The effective but light sunscreen formulations contain 0% petrochemical ingredients (mineral oil) and 0% "risky" ingredients (such as parabens, silicones, phenoxyethanol, etc.). In addition, as few ingredients as possible are used and only active ingredients that are optimally skin-friendly are used. Alga Maris Sunscreen uses only biodegradable ingredients, no organic solvents and 100% recyclable packaging.
