Pore refinement

Filter

Enlarged pores are a problem, especially for people with oily or combination skin. Not only do they disturb the skin's appearance, but due to their larger opening, they clog up faster and thus promote the formation of impurities. They are caused by a build-up of sebum, which is caused by overproduction of sebum in oily skin and means that sebum cannot escape from the pores. The result: the pore enlarges.

In addition, the formation of enlarged pores is favored by a lack of elasticity of the pores, an increased volume of hair follicles, chronic acne, hormones, stress as well as milk and carbohydrates. Daily deep cleansing and products containing tea tree oil or BHA (salicylic acid) can help minimize enlarged pores and even out skin's texture. In addition, when applying make-up, care should be taken to use a primer before the foundation. This prevents the foundation from settling in the pores and clogging them.
