Natural face care for dry skin

Filter

The skin is tight and has little shine. Dry skin usually lacks oil and moisture. It is usually thin and fine-pored and looks somewhat parchment-like. It can be brittle and cracked easily, and itches at times. Due to the lack of sebum, it cannot maintain its natural protective layer and is therefore sensitive to temperature changes and other environmental influences.

Only use gentle cleansers for facial cleansing, which simultaneously provide the skin with moisture and oil. Hot water puts additional strain on the acid mantle and should be avoided. After cleansing your face, apply a serum, a moisturizing cream and/or a rich oil. In general, care products for dry skin should contain fewer ingredients and no synthetic dyes, fragrances or alcohol. Dry skin can also be a sign of insufficient hydration or vitamin deficiencies. Drinking a lot and eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins is never wrong. Incidentally, estimates assume that around two thirds of external skin diseases in older people could be avoided with good and consistent care.
